N. Jakarta Optimistic to Win Binaul Masjid Competition Again

North Jakarta Binaul Masjid competition will be held again. The competition which has been going on since this week is participated by 6 mosques that spread in each sub-district. The winner will represent Binaul Masjid competition at City level. 

We hope able to win the competition again at city level this year as in East Jakarta we've won 2 years in a row

"We hope able to win the competition again at city level this year as in East Jakarta we've won 2 years in a row," said Assistant of Community Welfares for North Jakarta Administration, Ahmad Ya'la, Saturday (8/8). 

Ya'la told some of aspects judged are prosperity, administration and cleanliness. He hopes the competition could spur spirit of other caretakers to conduct arrangement thus the mosques could be more beneficial for citizens. 

Ahok Instructed Mayors to Help Arrange Worship Places

"The winner will be announced on Monday (8/10) and has a right to represent to civil level," he told. 

Head of North Jakarta Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI), Mabrur Abduh added, there are total 500 mosques and 1,000 small mosques in this area. 

"It's not only as worship facility. But I expect the mosques' role could be more optimized as communication and citizens interaction facility," he explained.
